After 47 years of Impressive life, a Transcendence occurred in Music and Hip-Hop and in the Philadelphia landscape of a former Musician Who experienced a curtain call announced today July 29th 2020. All can rest assured he had his time In ryhme and experienced a success amongst the afluent and under previlaged.

His contributions to the arts was as raw as his team. Magically Hip and Dynamically creative and unique Malik maintained the vein of street culture in his rhyme style. Some would say the reason Jay z signed the Roots to Def jam for game theory and his presence and versus on the album did not disappoint.

He was known also as a member of the illadelph all stars and the leader of the foreign objects collective of MCS and artist this Sunday a group of friends will be hosting a memorial celebration entitled Ascension a celebration of the life and rhymes of Malik B. He was my longtime friend and rhyme partner, my heart is warm knowing how much he enjoyed music, arts and culture and that he was able to continue to do it for so long. I am truly grateful, we were able to create together.

He was always a positive Force for those who knew him, encouraging and humble. He seemed to always appreciate the success he had with the roots and enjoyed sharing grand stories of his experiences.

It's an honor yet personal duty to celebrate the life and rhymes of Malik B, May Allah Be Pleased with Our Comrad.
